Admit it. You Might Be Wrong.

Admitting your wrong can be your greatest strength in marriage. It calms conflict, it makes your partner feel validated and it bumps you down a few notches, even if you don't want to be there.
So how can we rid ourselves of pride? It can be a real killer for life to be too proud. Too proud to apologize, too proud to ask for help, too proud to admit wrongdoing. I honestly think it's like a muscle. When you work that pride muscle, it becomes stronger and stronger. You become more and more stubborn. What you really need to be doing is letting that muscle get soft and flabby. You don't want to be able to pull out the pride quickly.
Prayer can help us with that, and it's a great place to start. Asking God for help can be easier than asking a friend or family member for help. Admitting to God that you were wrong can be easier than admitting to others that maybe you don't always have the right answers.
Through God all things are possible right? So why can't we ask him to help us be less proud too?
